UV printing on aluminum 200 x 133 cm
The work focuses on digital beings, such as internet bots and generative language models, and the ways they mimic human presence online. It explores the tension created by their attempt to appear credible through imitation.
Photographs captured with a 360° camera reference how we now experience spaces online-through virtual tours and presence simulations. The gestures of the figures and the staged composition appear spontaneous, as if caught mid-movement, yet are carefully planned and devoid of functional sense.
Slogans typical of internet bots are physically applied to the figures’ clothing, bringing digital language into material space. The photographs are printed on large aluminum sheets, emphasizing their cold, non-human quality while reflecting fragments of the surrounding environment, mixing digital and physical orders.
